The Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague is holding an international conference
HOSPITALITY, TOURISM, AND EDUCATION
The 3rd annual conference will focus on
RESEARCH AND PRACTICE
The conference will take place on 20 October 2011 at 9:30 a.m. on the campus of the the Institute of Hospitality Management, Svídnická 506, 181 00 Praha 8.
The conference will focus on theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of hotel, catering and tourism - in particular, this year, on research and rational implementation. Expected participants include representatives of public administration in this area, universities and vocational-oriented secondary schools, as well as representatives of the business sector. In an effort to encourage innovation and growth of new issues for professionals, IHM would especially like to provide space for young people in education and in the corporate sector and public administration.
The objectives of the conference are:
- to gain expertise in the field,
- to establish and strengthen personal contacts,
- to clarify the prospects for work in the field.
Ministers from the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports have been asked provide their official support this conference. In addition, there are lectures slated by the President of the Association of Hotels and Restaurants, the Director of CzechTourism, representatives from the Prague Chamber of Commerce, and important research university staff from the Czech Republic and abroad. Professionals have been invited from Denmark, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden. The program will be published on the conference website.
Official conference languages are Czech and English.
