13th International Week at Universidade Europeia in Lisbon

The 13th International Week at Universidade Europeia in Lisbon, Portugal, took place in March 2019 and I participated at it for the second time. A wonderful event, it always attracts me back. The week was scheduled to include university presentations, tours of university campuses (of which there are 3 in Lisbon and 1 in Oporto in the north of Portugal), guest lectures with a focus on Sustainable Tourism, interaction with UE students, promotion of Erasmus destinations, exchange of teaching techniques and contribution to research projects, plus a luxury 3-hour dinner boat cruise along the River Tejo to wrap it all up. The week was incredible and fast-paced. It is always a pleasure to visit Universidade Europeia, which like the Institute of Hospitality Management, is also a private institution led by Laureate International Universities, with around 3-4000 active students. It offers modern facilities, forward thinking professionals, fresh ideas and a great community atmosphere. All international guests who took part in the event were extremely well looked after and I believe that it was a great success. I look forward to hopefully returning. Thank you!
